Tragedy struck in Brooklyn, New York, on Friday morning when Kianna Underwood, a 33-year-old former child actress known for her work on Nickelodeon, was killed in a hit-and-run collision, authorities and media reports confirm.

According to the New York Police Department, Underwood was crossing an intersection in the Brownsville neighborhood when she was first struck by a black Ford Explorer SUV. Moments later, a second vehicle — described as a black and gray sedan — ran over her as she lay in the street. Both drivers fled the scene and have not yet been identified. Underwood was pronounced dead by emergency responders at the site of the crash.
Rise to Fame on Nickelodeon
Underwood rose to prominence as a child actress in the early 2000s. She appeared in seven episodes of the sketch comedy series All That in 2005 and voiced the character of Fuchsia Glover in the animated Nickelodeon show Little Bill between 1999 and 2004. She also spent time performing on the national stage, including a tour with the musical Hairspray as Little Inez.
Her role on All That marked her last credited acting work, a program that helped launch the careers of several entertainers.
